BIO
A little about me - I was born on May 3, 1979 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I was brought up a Reconstructionist Jew and grew up going to Congregation Dor Hadash in Pittsburgh where my grandfather was one of the first presidents. For elementary school I went to Solomon Schecter Day School which was in Beth El in Mount Lebanon. When I was in my second year of third grade it merged with Community Day School where I went for the my second year of third and fourth grades. For fifth grade I went to Minadeo Elementary and stayed in the Pittsburgh Public School system up through high school, going to Reizenstein and Allderdice. While in high school I participated in the high school musical on the stage crew and the marching band as a secondary mascot and floor crew for football games and shows. I also worked at Wendy’s where I worked for about 3 years. After high school I went Edinboro University for year and then transferred to Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) to study Computer User Support. After a about 4 years I realized it wasn’t for me so I took a break from college to work full time. While at CCAC I got a job at a comic book store and I also worked at the school’s computer lab. After about a year I got into Point Park University and graduated with a degree in History. My full resume can be found here.
Growing up I was an avid comic book collector. I collected almost anything Marvel and DC superhero. By the time I quit collecting I had every issue of Uncanny X-Men and The Avengers. While I don't collect I still watch any Superhero, Star Wars, or Star Trek related media.
I used to sing karaoke weekly but my current work schedule doesn’t allow for such things. I usually sing modern and classic rock, however I am can also do a pretty good version of Cartman – Come Sail Away
I also enjoy biking the trails around the city.

In 2017 I restarted the Jewish Genealogy Society of Pittsburgh and am it’s current president.
